I have tried several recipe's from this cookbook. Very interesting to the palate as it is not the usual taste as an Asian Take-out or sit down Asian Restaurant dinner.This book contains recipe's for real Asian food, not American contrived Asian Food. I Mostly had problems with spices and ingredients that are hard to find in and around the local stores, including two very well stocked Asian food stores...sometimes having accesss to one ingredient and not another/others hampers and dampens getting really involved with many, many recipe's..... I did purchase, on-line, KIRFUR LEAVES----- to freeze,.... which by the way,was mailed from Thai Land.....(so my suggestion for things not found locally). This made a problem in as much as gathering to prepare.. and enjoy. ... It was frustrating. However, if one perseveres, either by internet or in their travels, one can experiment and enjoy a rather delightful cuisine. I must say, when I purchase this Cookbook for myself I was really delighted with so many flavors and tastes portraid. My adult granddaughter was also looking forward to embracing the recipe's.
