I have used Gotham pots and pans for years and really loved them. When I saw these tiny little pans I was intrigued and laughed for minutes. Buying them was kind of a joke between my daughter and my self. It’s just the two of us now and I had mentioned the fact that we probably need to watch what we eat. Well these little pans deliver just like the big ones and they need to be used as carefully as the big ones. Never, never, ever should they be used on high heat. I cannot stress that enough, because they will scorch. Use them on a lower heat, watch them carefully, and spend more time . I have no idea why anyone would try to cook eggs in a sauce pan. But that sauce pan really does hold a can of vegetables, a couple servings of oatmeal, or boil a couple of eggs. Each pan has its uses, but they are NOT the big pans. They’re probably not for people who refuse to read directions. If used with the same care as the larger pans, they can become a useful part of a cookware collection.This is just what I needed to use with my mini hotplate to cook small meals in my van! They're just darling! :)I love these pans. Perfect for one person.The fry pan is perfect for frying 1-2 eggs. The wok shape pan is great for reheat small portion leftover or stir fry some chopped onions for my burger. I use the pot with the lid most often, from cheese fondue, soup, oatmeal to rice. Perfect for 1 serving. The square shape is perfect for making omelette for sandwich or just grill a cheese sandwich or toast a piece of bread.The non-stick surface works really well. So far nothing sticks.These are great pans that I have used most frequently since I bought it exactly a year ago.The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is that I just noticed there was a tiny pin size chip in the middle of the sauce pan. I am looking for a replacement sauce pan. If that is not available, I may just get a new set.My child thought it was a play kitchen set for him. It washes easy. My eggs don’t stick so that’s good. It’s good for a one person eating small meals kinda thing.I did read in the reviews that the pots were smaller than expected...but I never imagined they would be so small...they are as pictured but reminds you for the toy pots you buy for a child's play kitchen. If I had a small child that's just where they would go...I'm going to stick besides them though..???. If you order them just know that's what you're getting.These are not full size pans, they are single serve and work exactly perfectly for that. Bought these for my teenage grandson who can't always be home at meal time. The griddle perfectly fits one grilled cheese or French toast, the frying pan fits one burger or a one egg mini omelet. The sauce pan doesn't get much use, but he does use it to reheat left over soup, and the wok is just big enough for one pack of ramen if you don't make soup, holds just enough water to boil them for noodles, but not enough water for soup. So for what I wanted, these are perfect. The kid can't always be around at meal times, and he prefers fresh cooked food rather than left overs, so this works perfectly for him to prepare a single serving of actual food when he gets home.Note; This is a small set. I have purchased all the Gotham steel pans I can find and all have performed well. The rivets do get food stuck to them and you need to soak the pan to get it off if this happens but if you use these correctly they hold up well and perform great. You have to use lower heat than you would think and you need to use non metal cookware in them. They are scratch resistant. You can still scratch them. Sometimes it's hard to cook in them because if you have to flip something it slides around in the pan and you can't get the spatula under it to flip it. Very easy to clean. The pans in this set are small. The square pan is slightly larger than a piece of bread to give you an idea. I cooked an egg in the pan they call a wok and it was about the size of an English muffin when I was done.I have a couple of the larger pans from Gotham Steels plans that I have used for almost a year and have no complaints yet. Easy to clean, I have used steel wool at times to clean stubborn burnt spots, with no scratch marks. Wanted to give this a try due as I cook tons of crepes and sauces. Used it on a flat stove top at at medium high with a light spray of Pam (oil spray) and had no issues with sticking or any burnt spots. It stacks well for easy storage. Great product.I moved from a place with roommates to a studio apartment and needed to stock up on EVERYTHING. With the lockdown in effect, it was impossible to purchase anything in store so I searched for items online to get the necessities. I needed a lot and didn't want to spend a lot but didn't want to get something that would need to be replaced in a couple of months or that would potentially make me sick so when I saw this set it seemed to good to be true. It has the perfect pieces to pan fry my salmon steaks, fry up veggies for a stir fry, cook an egg and make a pot of soup or porridge (basically this broke girl's healthy meal plan).I submitted the order over a month ago and waited...and waited...and waited some more. I have been ordering take out waiting to finally be able to cook a meal which is ridiculously expensive and very much not healthy. It finally arrived about an hour ago so I can finally do groceries. I haven't had a chance to try cooking or cleaning them but I needed to jump on reviewing once I opened the box.They seemed to good to be true and there's a reason for that. These are tiny. That's on me for not reading the full print. If you're reading this then maybe you already read the description in full and this info will be redundant. OtherwiseWith that in mind, I think these are still right for me. I'm only cooking for myself. These will easily fit in a small kitchen cupboard or in a dish drying rack without fear of everything toppling over. This is a great set for solo cooking. Not great for cooking for a family or even for a guest. Definitely not ideal for meal prep. As long as you have reasonable expectations of this, you could be pleasantly surprised. I'll add more once I have a chance to fully try all the pieces.I've held off writing the review until I had a chance to use them more and the first few times I used them they were great... still not bad for eggs but anything else is a nightmare. I made a burger on the square pan and it totally chard and stuck... didn't come clean at all.Parfait pour limiter les portions ? !
