This is a pleasure to cook in. It is specious & easy to mix your food around. Great buy. :)It's considerably thicker than I had imagined...close to 3/16 of an inch ... allowing the heat to to distribute up the sides -- rather unlike a traditional wok.I need the shape/shallowness of this pan more than I do the thinness of the material but really would preferred it thinner -- or at least the sides thinner.4 stars overall.I’ve been replacing my cookware with Anolon over the past couple of years and I’ve never been disappointed. This pan is no exception.This wok/fry pan is excellent. It lives up to its description - food does not stick, easy to clean. Food fries in an even manner. Recommend it highly.literally the BEST cookware i have ever owned. wish they had a 14” as well. complemented this wok with a 12” techef glass vented cover. love love this panVery high quality pan. Works flawlessly in all situations. Quite heavy compared to nonstick standards. I had a coupon to take the price down a little. Otherwise, I might not have bought.Update after 1 year:The inside bottom coating has gone off in patches. It is a pity that such expensive pans will last for 1 year only. I always hand-washed and took care of it.This has become my go-to pan for almost every stovetop meal I make.It's truly non-stick, and although it is wok-shaped, there is enough flat surface to serve as a fry or saute pan as well.There are 2 of us in this household, and there is easily enough flat bottom area to sear/brown/cook 2 steaks, chicken breasts, fish fillets . . .I will often just use this one pan for a dinner without having to use two separate pans for veggies and protein.I also love the double handled design of this (opposed to a long handle with a helper handle). Not only does that take up less space, but it's much easier for me to manage 2 loop handles than one long.Despite claims that it's safe, I only use wood, silicone or nylon utensils, have not used metal utensils with this, nor have I put this in the dishwasher. I've used this almost daily and the surface remains scratch free.Don't let the low price suggest low quality. This lives on my stovetop, while my similarly shaped (lower sides) All Clad at 3+x the price sits in my cabinet.Love this pan. Easy to clean. Cooks great. Handles on both sides makes it so easy to pick up and move around. Did not come with a lid but so far have not missed it. If you want one, pretty sure Anolon sells this pan with a lid. Anolon makes great stuff.
