Our old wok Westbend brand electric wok died years ago. I loved the taste of sauté vegetables in it so I was looking for a light weight wok ! I have shoulder and neck problems so I can’t lift those HEAVY WOKS ! I came across this one and it’s perfect ! I took pictures to show the size of it on my ceramic stove top! It weighs only 2 pounds but lid on top of the wok ( together) weighs 3.7 pounds ! I just take the lid off when carrying it because it makes it too heavy for me . It’s made of aluminum and coated with marble inside . The instructions say “ Don’t use metal spatula or heat on high setting or it could warp or ruin interior . The glass lid fits perfectly in the slight groves and has vent hole ! I’ll be using it today and know it’s going to work out “great” just by the looks of it ! I was worried about the bottom wok because before ordering it I wanted to make sure it doesn’t have sharp grooves on bottom that could scrap the top - this wok doesn’t - that’s why I’m showing you the picture ! I’m very happy with this purchase and came at a GREAT PRICE !
