Okay, the headline should just read, “tossing.” But you need to toss to create the great pomodoro or agile e oleo sauces. This pan’s light weight makes it possible for me. Great for stir fry and works well in oven. I bought this pan for my son months ago. He served as my Guinea pig and couldn’t stop singing it’s praises. Let this recommendation push you to the side of buying it if you are n the fence.So far really good, not sure about durability yet, hopefully last long!Love this pan, easy to clean and the perfect size.I like to wait a few months before reviewing items like housewares, and I'm happy to report that after half a year, I can attest: this Techef pan is the real deal.Cooks great, cleans great... it's a much-used tool in my kitchen arsenal and I predict it will be for some time. My one reminder for any of you, though? *You must follow the instructions for how to use and care for this ceramic pan!* For example, as instructed... I never use this pan with higher than medium heat. Also as instructed, I never clean this pan with hot water (cold only, after letting the hot pan sit/cool off). If you follow those rules, your pan - like mine - will look like new and cook like a charm long after you bought it.I want to find a non-stick pan, after two months, this pan is starting to stick. Since it past two months, so I am unable to return it! It was good-non stick for about two months.Would not recommended this non-stick pan to anyone!Don’t forget to buy the lid.I can honestly say I think my new non-stick wok is great and sleek looking. I do wish it was:1. lighter - the wok requires me using both hands on the handle to remove from the stove due to its weight, or2. Also had another small handle on the other side of the wok so I can use both hand on either side of the wok since it is quite heavy.However, I've been mainly wanting a good nonstick wok that wouldn't expose me to unwanted chemicals such as those from the Dupont nonstick pans (I had to throw out my old nonstick pans due to the chemicals I learned about) and this wok fits that bill. In the short time that I've had this wok, I've used it to make eggs, noodles, rice pilaf, chili, etc. and it's been an easy clean due to the nonstick surface.It's a bit bigger than my old wok that was 10.5" but I'm enjoying the extra space I have in this one to make a larger quantity of curry or stew.I use this pan almost every night. Nothing sticks and is so easy to clean. I bought one for my daughter too.Great frying pan. Came recommended to us. It feels like it's 15" wide instead of 12" it's so big. It's heavy too, not flimsy like some of those Chinatown woks I've had before. Bought a second one for my brother. Didn't get the lid that comes as an add-on, instead bought another lid by TeChef that was half the price but fits perfectly.Truely-non stick. Even pot-stickers won't stick and burnt. They just glide right off the bottom. I love the high rim because I hate food flying out of the pan when I stir-fry or browning anything. I use it as more than just a wok for stir-fry - I also use it for pan-fry and making saucy dishes as well. Very, very easy to clean. A little heavier than I expected though. But that is not a problem for me.This wok was fantastic for the first month, easy to clean, easy to cook, easy to eat. However things started to stick and the bottom of the wok began to burn. Now its permently burnt and everything sticks after 4 months of near daily use. For 75bucks CDN i got a good few months of use but this pan doesnt appear to be made to last long term as other reviews have pointed this out aswell.I bought the 8 inch pan a few months ago and have been very impressed with it. I have not yet used the 12" but am sure it will be just as good. I use mine on an induction burner and they work great.Don't waste your money, it started sticking to the pan after using it a few times, nightmare! !
